Limerick #ausconf

Friday, May 30th, 2014

In Limerick, Ireland today for a conference on austerity. I recommend checking #ausconf on Twitter to follow goings-on and notes from my presentation.  Mentioned by me, and here for your handy reference, is the paper by Dustmann, Fitzenberger, Schönberg, and Spitz-Oener on Germany’s resurgent economy, and this ugly video that shows the political fruits of massive youth unemployment as witnessed in the recent EU elections.

Stopped by NewsTalk Breakfast to discuss Ireland’s unnecessary suffering due to austerity policies post-recession. Link here
